A 12.1 megapixel CMOS sensor captures both photos and Full HD video at up to 30fps, and offers continuous autofocus to keep your subjects sharp. Video recording also benefits from a built-in microphone and Face Tracking AF when you are filming people. In addition, image stabilisation helps reduce camera shake for steadier shots, in both photo and video, in a variety of lighting conditions.

The compact form factor makes it ideal to take along, and an electronic viewfinder with 2.36 million dots and a 60 fps refresh rate provides a clear, realistic view at eye level. A three-way one-touch switch allows quick zoom changes, and the camera also has a microSD memory card slot for storing files and a USB Type-C port for charging the internal battery. Built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity can also be paired with the Canon Camera Connect app for remote live view monitoring and wireless file sharing with a mobile device.
