The Caruba Extension Tube Set Type II Canon Chrome consists of three intermediate rings that can be used separately, but can also be combined. Extension tubes are perfect for macro photography or for making special close-ups. The three intermediate rings have no optical elements. This makes it possible to bring subjects to a greater extent and from a closer view, without negatively affecting the quality of the image. The intermediate rings have a chrome mount and are compatible with Canon EF and EF-S lenses. Options such as automatic focus and TTL light metering continue to work. It is advisable to focus manually, because the sharpness is very close.

Each lens has a minimum focusing distance. If you place an extension tube (in Dutch: tussenring) between the lens and the camera body, the minimum focus distance is reduced. The larger the focal length of the intermediate ring, the closer you can get and the more detail you can capture.
