DJI (Ronin) RS 2 Pro Combo
With the DJI RS 2, you take your cinematography to the next level. This gimbal, suitable for larger mirrorless cameras and DSLR cameras, helps you capture super smooth and dynamic footage. With the Pro Combo version, you get everything you need for the most beautiful shots.
The stabilisation system has a maximum payload of 4.5 kg. At a weight of just over 1 kg, that is a fantastic ratio. The gimbal owes its low weight to the carbon construction, which also makes it incredibly strong. DJI's Titan Stabilization algorithm delivers unprecedented stabilisation. Combined with SuperSmooth technology, even the smallest movements are eliminated, even when you shoot with a 100mm lens.
With a range of creative functions, you can really let your creativity run free. With Time Tunnel, you combine a 360° movement with hyperlapse video for spectacular results. With Force Mobile, the gimbal follows the movements of your phone for even smoother footage. Track lets you program a movement in advance, so nothing can go wrong during the shot. You can also easily shoot timelapse videos and panoramas thanks to the built-in functions.
The DJI RS 2 is equipped with a colour touchscreen, on which you quickly and easily select the right settings. For example, you can get started right away with ActiveTrack 3.0 to automatically follow your subject. With the built-in dial, you control the focus motor (standard only with the Pro Combo) for very precise focusing. The 3D focus system uses ToF (Time of Flight) sensors to determine the distance between the lens and the subject, even in difficult lighting conditions. This means you also enjoy fast autofocus on lenses with manual focus.
The RavenEye WiFi transmitter (standard only with the Pro Combo) provides great flexibility and a streamlined workflow. Not only can you see live on your smartphone what you are filming in Full HD, you can also adjust the camera settings. The RS 2 also uses the camera's signal to control the gimbal's built-in ActiveTrack 3.0.
The gimbal is designed for quick and direct use. With the Arca-Swiss quick release plate, you attach the camera in just a few seconds, and with the Fine-Tune balance knob, you get the perfect balance for your gear. The arms have a Teflon coating for even smoother movement. The axes can be locked, which is handy during transport, for example. With the BG30 grip, the gimbal has a maximum operating time of 12 hours and can be charged separately from the RS 2. The included carry case is water-repellent and has a separate compartment for every loose part. This way, you can take the RS 2 with you anywhere, always neatly organised.
The standard version of the RS 2 contains the essential parts to get started. The Pro Combo version is a complete set including all accessories. Compared to the standard version, it also includes the focus motor, the WiFi transmitter, a phone holder, a cold shoe to 1/4"-20 adapter and several cables.
