The Fujifilm EF-X8 Reporter flash is compatible with the Fujifilm X-T and earlier X-T models. The EF-X8 is a portable, hot shoe mounted flash. The flash is compatible with Fujifilm's TTL system for automatic exposure control and also supports manual power control from 1/1 to 1/64 power, adjustable via the camera's menu system.

It can also act as a commander to trigger remote synchronised flashes, and it supports TTL settings for slow sync for creative versatility. Complementing the compact design, the flash is also powered through the camera body for easy use.
