The Hoya HDX Antistatic Protector of 40.5mm protects the front element of your lens against scratches, dust and moisture. With a light transmission of 99.6%, the filter leaves your image and colours unaffected. The antistatic coating ensures less dust clings to it, so you have to clean it less often.

Hoya HDX Antistatic Protector – 40.5mm

With the Hoya HDX Antistatic Protector of 40.5mm you protect the front element of your lens against scratches, dust, moisture and fingerprints. The clear filter has a light transmission of 99.6% and leaves your image quality and colours unaffected. This way you keep it on your lens permanently.

On both sides there is a 20-layer multicoating. The anti-reflective layer limits reflections, flare and ghosting for clear, sharp images. The water- and oil-repellent, stain-resistant layer repels water, fingerprints and grease, so you clean the filter easily. New is the antistatic coating: the filter does not generate static electricity, so dust clings less and you clean it less often.

The glass is chemically strengthened, 2 mm thick and polished on both sides. Thanks to the strengthening, it is more resistant to impact and breakage. You screw the filter onto your lens via the filter thread.
