The Insta360 X5 Thermo Grip Cover is designed for 8K shooting. More comfort during longer shooting sessions. The Thermo Grip Cover lowers the X5's surface temperature during prolonged 8K shooting, providing a more comfortable shooting experience.

The Insta360 X5 records in 8K at 30 Fps, which increases power consumption and can cause the Camera to heat up. This is normal.

Advanced graphene cooling technology. Made of graphene-based phase transition materials (PCMs) that reduce the Camera's surface temperature by up to 7 ºC during 8K recording.

(Tested in a controlled laboratory environment against recording without the Thermo Grip Cover.)
