Kodak Ektachrome E100 - 120 / 5-pack

The Kodak Ektachrome E100 is a color slide film with ISO 100. After developing you get direct positive images: slides that you project, view on a light box or scan. The film is daylight balanced and has very fine grain, accurate colors and slightly enhanced saturation.

The neutral tone scale delivers natural skin tones and consistent gray reproduction, with good detail in shadows and highlights. Kodak has optimized the film for scanning. Slide film does require precise exposure: the latitude is narrower than with negative film, so meter your light carefully.

You get five rolls of 120 roll film for medium format cameras. How many exposures you get per roll depends on your camera: 15 or 16 at 6x4.5, 12 at 6x6 and 10 at 6x7. Note: 120 film does not fit a 35mm camera.

You develop E100 in the E-6 process, not in the common C-41. Not every photo lab offers E-6, so check with your lab beforehand. Kodak recommends storing unexposed film cool, preferably at 13 °C or below.
