This Leica ND Filter 16x E67 in black helps to reduce the overall exposure with four stops and is a solid neutral density 1.2 filter offering greater control over exposures. The solid ND 1.2 density creates a darkening of the entire image, allowing you to shoot with a larger aperture or a slower shutter speed than normal. By slowing your exposure time or increasing your aperture, you can control the depth of field and convey movements more easily.

The filter is made from optical glass and set in lightweight aluminium rings; both are of the same standards as those used in Leica's M lenses. The glass has also been coated to help suppress flare and ghosting for improved contrast and colour accuracy.
