A rotary knob adjusts the resistance, allowing you to fine-tune the head. The ball head has a diameter of 32 mm and a panning base of 40 mm. The height is 85 mm. This ball head comes with BPL-50N quick-release plate. The Leofoto XB-38 can carry as much as 20 kilos and weighs 311 grams itself.

The BPL-50N quick-release plate is made of black anodised aircraft aluminium, which makes it very strong yet lightweight (only 35 grams) and durable.
