Leofoto Summit LM-404C Tripod

The Leofoto Summit series is designed for larger, heavy cameras and lenses. The Leofoto Summit LM-404C is the tripod with the greatest working height in this series. The maximum working height of the tripod is 180 cm. The tripod is supplied without a ball head. Without a ball head, it has a minimum height of just 10.5 cm. Thanks to its thick legs, this tripod can easily support camera combinations of up to 40 kilograms. The LM-404C Summit tripod weighs no more than 2,500 grams and folds down to 63 cm. It comes supplied with a removable tripod plate and 100 mm half-bowl for video, a shoulder bag, spikes, and a multitool.

The tripods in the Leofoto Summit series stand out for their exceptional stability and light weight. They feature a wide, removable tripod plate and no centre column, keeping vibrations to a minimum and ensuring a very solid setup. In addition, they all come with a half-bowl, making them suitable for mounting a video head as well. Optionally, a centre column is available to increase the maximum working height. On the sides and underside of the tripod plate there are UNC 3/8" screw holes to which a magic arm or smartphone can be attached. On the top of the plate there is a spirit level.

The Summit LM-404C tripod is intended for all heavy-duty work with a large DSLR camera, medium format camera, or video camera. The tripod legs consist of four sections with diameters of 40, 36, 32, and 28 mm. These feature the Twistlock system, allowing them to be extended quickly. The removable tripod plate has a diameter of 100 mm and is fitted with a standard tripod screw in both 1/4" and 3/8", making it compatible with virtually any head. The tripod has rubber feet, but a set of spikes is included so you can use the tripod on any surface. This makes it a true must-have for the professional working with heavy equipment.
