The NiSi ND Long Exposure Kit 100mm is a kit that consists of three 100 x 100mm IR ND filters. ND filters, also known as grey filters, are perfect for reducing the amount of light entering the lens. In doing so, ND filters make it possible to generate a smaller depth of field or more motion blur. This is because a larger aperture or slower shutter speed can be used.

This kit includes three ND filters, namely the ND8, ND64 and ND1000. The IR ND8 is a 3-stop grey filter and is often used for shooting water streams with shutter speeds of 1/2 to 2 seconds. The IR ND64 is a 6-stop grey filter and is often used to photograph smooth water or clouds. The IR ND1000 is a 10-stop grey filter and is used during the day to reduce shutter speed when there is a lot of light.
