  • Improves contrast and colour accuracy in backlit conditions
  • Only compatible with the M.Zuiko Digital 45mm f/1.8, not with other lenses

OM SYSTEM LH-40B Lens Hood - Silver

The OM SYSTEM LH-40B is a round lens hood, specifically designed for the M.Zuiko Digital 45mm f/1.8. The bayonet mount lets you attach it quickly and securely, with no play whatsoever.

In backlit situations or bright conditions, the hood keeps unwanted light out of the frame. This reduces lens flare and colour cast, and improves contrast and colour accuracy. As an added bonus, the extended front section protects the front lens element from bumps and knocks.

The LH-40B is compatible exclusively with the M.Zuiko Digital 45mm f/1.8 and not with any other lenses. The black version matches the standard black design of that lens. A silver variant is also available for the silver lens version.
