Thanks to the sliding mechanism of this lens hood, you don't have to keep unscrewing or removing it, ideal! You simply slide the hood in or out, exactly when you need it. This makes the LH-49 particularly practical during macro photography in the field, where you need to switch quickly between different situations. Do you have a C-PL filter mounted on your lens? Then you can still turn it easily with the LH-49 in place, without having to remove the lens hood. The lens hood was specially developed for the OM SYSTEM M.Zuiko ED 60mm F/2.8 Macro and therefore fits precisely to the shape of this lens.
