The focal length of the lens will increase by 1.4x, and you can continue to use autofocus (with lenses with an aperture of f/4.0 or higher).

The Pentax DA 1.4 x Rear Converter OFF HD AW increase the focal length by 1.4 times. The converter is very compact and light in weight with only 20 mm (126 grams). This tele converter is suitable for Pentax AF-lenses and of course the autofocus continuous to work. The minimum focusing distance of the main lens is retained, whereby in close-ups larger and more detailed images emerge.

The Pentax DA AF HD Rear Converter is weather resistant and dustproof thanks to three air-tight seals. The inside of the tele converter features a HD coating so that the reflections on the inside of the lens are minimized.
