The PGYTECH Insta360 X4 Air Camera Cage is designed for creators who need speed, security, and complete creative freedom. The clever two-piece construction with twist-lock knob lets you swap the camera in seconds, while the sturdy aluminium frame with rubber cushioning and a silicone lens cap provides reliable protection without compromise. The design fully encloses the camera while maintaining access to the battery, controls, and connections. Multiple mounting points give you the flexibility to shoot horizontally and attach additional accessories such as lights or microphones. The original Insta360 mount is preserved at the bottom, complemented by a 1/4"-20 thread for maximum compatibility.
The fully enclosed frame is made from a high-strength aluminium alloy and offers robust impact resistance. Built-in rubber cushioning provides extra shock absorption, scratch resistance, and enhanced protection. The split-frame construction and twist-lock knob mechanism enable fast and secure mounting and dismounting, making it ideal for frequent equipment changes in fast-paced shooting environments.
The cage is specifically designed for the Insta360 X4 Air and features precise cut-outs for the buttons, battery compartment, and microphone connections, ensuring full access and control at all times. The open design allows for uninterrupted signal transmission.
The side-mounted cold shoe attachment enables horizontal shooting during intensive activities such as cycling and surfing. The cage features a 1/4"-20 mount and a 1/4" hole for easily attaching accessories such as fill lights, microphones, and wrist straps. It retains the Insta360 quick-release base and the standard 1/4"-20 threaded mount at the bottom for attaching tripods, selfie sticks, stabilisers, and more.
The snug-fitting silicone lens cap reduces the risk of everyday wear and tear while remaining lightweight and durable. Compatible with both Class A and Class S lens protectors.
Windscreen foam for the microphone connection is included to effectively reduce wind noise during cycling and improve audio quality.
