With the Profoto Air Remote it is easy to control the light setup from a distance of 300 meters. This digital wireless operating system is built into some Profoto generators, the D1 flash series and the new continuous light sources. Thanks to this technique, the flash setup can be remotely controlled from the camera point of view, including flash power and modeling light. A virtually unlimited number of generators and flash heads can be controlled across 8 channels in up to 6 groups. Profoto Air technology works with extremely short delays and allows very short synchronization times (up to 1/1600 sec.). The connection with the devices is via the camera's hot shoe or via a cable. The Air Remote devices weigh only 70 grams inclusive batteries and are easy to operate. Through the 2.4 GHz band, devices can be used worldwide without any problems.
