Pulsar Thermal Imaging Binoculars Merger LRF XT50
For image capture, the binoculars use a professional 12-micron thermal imaging sensor manufactured in Europe, with a resolution of 1280x1024 pixels, delivering high-resolution image quality. The variable magnification from 2x to 16x provides improved focusing and better object recognition at long range. The 1280x1024 @ 12 µm sensor ensures high image sharpness across the entire zoom range. Magnification can be adjusted in steps (2x, 4x, 8x, 16x) or continuously, depending on the situation.
The optional image stabilisation function enables vibration-free and comfortable observation, even at high magnification. Motion blur caused by hand tremors is eliminated, making it easier to track distant or fast-moving objects. The function is activated by holding down the UP/ZOOM button.
The wide field of view of 17.5° makes it easy to detect and scan heat sources. At the same time, image shake is minimised and situational awareness is increased — ideal for observation with maximum comfort.
The combination of the powerful objective lens and the 12 µm / 1280x1024 sensor makes it possible to detect an object 1.8 m tall at a distance of up to 2,300 metres in complete darkness.
The Merger LRF series is designed in the style of traditional binoculars. Thanks to its compact size, the device sits comfortably in the hand, with an elegant appearance and excellent ergonomics. Six function buttons are intuitively positioned, providing quick access to frequently used functions.
The optical construction is aligned with natural human binocular vision, resulting in less eye fatigue and better recognition of subtle or weak heat sources. The interpupillary distance is adjustable between 63 and 74 mm for individual adjustment.
For an accurate assessment of the target, distance measurement is essential. The built-in rangefinder works up to 1,500 m and supports both single and continuous measurement with an accuracy of ±1 m.
The Merger LRF XT50 is powered by two rechargeable batteries: one internal battery of 4 Ah and a replaceable battery of 3.2 Ah. Together, they provide a long operating time. A relief marking on the external battery aids quick replacement in the dark.
With three sensitivity levels, intelligent filter algorithms, and fine brightness and contrast adjustment, the device delivers excellent image quality even in challenging weather conditions. Ideal for recognising trophy characteristics in game.
The integrated video recorder can store hours of video and thousands of photos on the internal 64 GB memory. Recordings start with a single press of a button. Images can easily be transferred to a computer via USB-C.
Via Wi-Fi, you can connect the device to the Pulsar Stream Vision 2 app. This allows you to stream live footage, update firmware, share photos and videos, or control the device remotely. Registered users receive 16 GB of cloud storage.
