The Quadralite Atlas 600 TTL is an outdoor studio flash that supports TTL systems. The Atlas 600 TTL is the first Quadralite studio flash to work with cameras in automatic TTL flash metering mode. This makes it possible to capture scenes with dynamically changing light conditions, both in the studio and outdoors.

The maximum flash output is 600 Ws with a very wide adjustment range of 8 stops (1/1 – 1/256), allowing you to tailor the flash power to virtually any subject. The unit runs on a battery and does not need to be connected to the mains, making it highly versatile for use outside the photo studio. The ability to synchronise the flash with short shutter speeds allows the use of wide apertures and shallow depth of field, even in bright ambient light.

The Atlas 600 TTL features a built-in receiver for the Quadralite Navigator X radio control system. Thanks to this, no additional radio receivers need to be connected to the unit. It is also possible to use the 3.5 mm jack socket with another type of remote.

The Atlas 600 can be used with the Atlas FH600 600 Ws flash head. This allows you to position the flash head with a light modifier on a tall tripod, for example, while keeping the flash unit itself within easy reach. If the shooting situation calls for a more powerful unit than 600 Ws, there is also the option to connect two Atlas 600 units to the Atlas FH1200 1200 Ws flash head.

The unit is powered by an Atlas PowerPack lithium-ion battery with a capacity of up to 8,700 mAh. When fully charged, this is sufficient for up to 500 flashes at full power. The battery is replaceable, allowing the unit to be used without a mains power supply. The battery is charged via the included mains charger and lasts approximately 4 hours.

Thanks to its Bowens mount, the unit is compatible with a wide range of light modifiers, such as reflector dishes, softboxes, and umbrellas. The tripod mount allows the angle of the unit to be adjusted and is compatible with virtually all studio tripods.
