RIX Optics NANO N6 Thermal Clip-on
The RIX Optics NANO N6 is a compact thermal clip-on sight that quickly turns your existing, correctly zeroed daytime optics into a setup suitable for thermal observation. You mount the clip-on in front of the riflescope without having to readjust the existing point of aim. With a length of less than 100 mm and a weight of just 435 grams, the NANO N6 adds very little bulk or weight to your setup.
The high-quality VOx thermal sensor has a resolution of 640 × 512 pixels, a pixel pitch of 12 μm and a thermal sensitivity of ≤15 mK. Combined with the fast 50mm f/1.0 objective lens, this delivers detailed images with strong contrast, even with small temperature differences or challenging weather conditions. Smart image processing optimises the bright and dark areas of the image for clear, natural reproduction.
Thanks to the built-in laser rangefinder, you can measure distances up to 1500 metres with an accuracy of ±1 metre. The integrated ballistic calculator then helps you determine the correct correction for different distances. The clip-on offers an accuracy of up to 1 MOA and features fine adjustment of 1.2 cm at 100 metres. The thermal image is shown on a sharp OLED display with a resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels. The base magnification is 1× and the NANO N6 is suitable for daytime optics with a magnification of 1 to 16×. Four adjustable scale levels ensure that the user interface aligns well with different magnifications of the riflescope used. The RIX Optics NANO N6 has a versatile 2-in-1 design. In addition to use as a thermal clip-on, the device can quickly be converted into a handy thermal imaging monocular with a separate eyepiece. With the detachable remote control, you can also operate the clip-on sight without having to reach forward.
Photos and videos are captured at a resolution of 1280 × 960 pixels and stored on the 64GB internal memory. The replaceable 18650 battery offers a runtime of around four hours. Because you can quickly replace the battery, you can easily continue during extended use with a spare battery. The IP67 rating protects the device against dust and water, while the temperature range of -20 to 50 °C enables reliable use in a variety of conditions.
