The new Rode Stereo Videomic PRO Rycote ensures a high-quality stereo option for studio and live recordings. It is ideal for recording music and the cozy atmosphere of a realistic audio scene.

Rode has equipped the Stereo VideoMic Pro Rycote with the Rycote® Lyre® based shock mounting system. It ensures reliable isolation from external physical factors that may cause undesired background noises into the microphone. The Lyre® is constructed from a single piece of wear-resistant thermoplastic and provides a suspension superior acoustic mounting with respect to the traditional elastic solutions. This distinguishes it clearly from the competition.

The Stereo VideoMic Pro is, with its ergonomic form factor, ideal for SLRs and high-quality camcorders. In addition, the newly designed and woven Kevlar-reinforced cable as well as the improved windscreen, provide for an excellent acoustic decoupling of the camera. This results in significantly less background noise transfer and higher sensitivity.

The high-pass filter at 75 Hz is designed to cut out background noise, such as traffic and other unwanted low-frequency interference. The -10dB PAD will reduce the sensitivity of the microphone. This makes it suitable for audio recordings such as live music or sporting events.
