Samyang AF 14-24mm f/2.8 L-Mount
The Samyang AF 14-24mm f/2.8 L-Mount is a fast ultra-wide zoom lens for full-frame L-Mount cameras. The focal length range of 14-24mm gives you a wide field of view. You can easily create wide compositions. At 14mm you capture a lot of the surroundings, while at 24mm you frame a bit more calmly and keep more control over your composition.
The constant maximum aperture of f/2.8 remains available throughout the entire zoom range, making it easier to work in lower light and to control depth of field more deliberately. The optical construction consists of 15 elements in 11 groups. Aspherical, HR and ED elements help reduce distortion, chromatic aberrations and softness at the edges. Your images therefore stay sharp and clear, even when you use the lens at the extreme wide-angle setting. The UMC coating reduces reflections and flare, so you retain more contrast in bright light or backlight.
Despite the fast design, the Samyang AF 14-24mm f/2.8 weighs only 441 grams, so you can take the lens with you easily. The minimum focusing distance of 18 centimeters also gives you the option to work close to your subject, while still keeping a lot of the surroundings in the frame. A strong practical advantage is the 77mm filter size. This lets you use standard screw-in filters, such as ND or polarizing filters, without needing a large filter system. The Linear STM autofocus motor focuses quickly and quietly, which is pleasant for both photo and video. Thanks to the weather-resistant construction, you can also use the lens in changing conditions.
