Sennheiser MKE 440 Directional Stereo Microphone

The Sennheiser MKE 440 Directional Stereo Microphone consists of two shotgun microphones placed in a stereo V formation. This means that you can always record a focused sound without that disturbing surrounding sounds are recorded. The MKE 440 is specially designed to record professional audio with DSLRs and camcorders. At the MKE 440 Directional Stereo Microphone Sennheiser has secured the full frequency spectrum within the audio bandwidth. In addition, there is a controller provided which can be set on three levels. The low cut switch thereby minimizes wind and contact noise. The double-layer metal mesh ensures that all further noise is filtered out. This ensures for the sound effectiveness whereby unwanted sounds and noise, such as wind, are filtered out.

Once you determine the best positioning for your camera, it is obviously important that the sound corresponds with the respective images. The MKE 440 is focused on this and ensures a uniform broad sound coverage. It is perfectly suited for press conferences with several speakers but also ideal when filming your child during a performance.

The MKE 440 microphone is easy to attach to the hot shoe and then you connect the jack plug to the audio input on your camera. The MKE 440 comes with a 3.5mm mini jack cable and is powered by two AAA batteries.
