The Shimoda Action X40 v2 Women's Starter Kit (Medium DSLR Core Unit) (Teal) is designed for adventurous female photographers looking for a compact backpack that offers quick access to gear. This backpack includes women's technical straps and an adjustable waist belt. The straps are designed to curve away from the chest area and are slightly smaller than other Shimoda Designs backpack straps. The hip belt is also smaller and has an adjustable diameter of 6.1 cm, allowing people with smaller hips to find an ideal fit and redistribute the weight off their shoulders.

The X40 comfortably accommodates most 17 cm DSLR cameras in the Medium DSLR Core Unit. This is an insert with padded dividers that help organise and protect equipment. The backpack's roll-top access allows you to increase or decrease the volume to meet the needs of your gear. Multiple attachment straps, including TPU compression straps, offer more durability when attaching skis, and the removable helmet holder attaches a mountaineering, ski or bike helmet to the outside of the backpack.

The interchangeable and adjustable shoulder straps have two zippered pockets designed for the latest iPhone, a water bottle or personal accessories.
