The Sigma 50mm f/1.4 DG HSM ART is a fast prime lens designed specifically to deliver high optical performance. With three special glass elements and one aspherical lens element, among other features, chromatic aberrations are kept to a minimum and you benefit from optimal clarity and sharpness.

The lens features a Super Multi Coating to reduce flare, so the contrast and color accuracy in your images are superb as well. The lens works with a Hyper Sonic AF motor, which ensures quiet, smooth and fast autofocus performance. This means you can use the Sigma 50mm F/1.4 DG HSM ART in a wide range of situations. Besides the fast automatic focusing, you can of course also choose to focus manually, which is simple and smooth by turning the focus ring.

This prime lens has a large diameter of 85.4mm. The widest lens elements are placed in the front group, which makes it easier to work with a large aperture opening. Thanks to the minimum focusing distance of just 40cm, the Sigma 50mm F/1.4 is also extremely well suited for shooting close-up images.
