The lens hood effectively blocks stray light, minimising reflections and ghosting while maintaining optimal image quality. The high-quality, sealed UV glass on the front acts as a protective 'shield' for the lens, offering reliable protection against dust, scratches, and light splashes during everyday use, as well as against extreme conditions such as sand, rain, or snow.

For added protection, a custom-made silicone protective cap is included to safeguard both the filter and the lens hood during storage.
