The SmallRig 6027 "HawkLock" Cage Kit for Sony Alpha 7 V / 7R V / 7 IV is expertly designed to enhance your low-angle shooting experience whilst offering an efficient "HawkLock" quick-release system. This kit provides robust camera protection and versatile mounting options. Included are a cage, an HDMI cable clamp, a "HawkLock" NATO rail, and a "HawkLock" handle.
The "HawkLock" handle features SmallRig's patented "HawkLock" quick-release system, allowing you to attach the camera with a single press of a button. This significantly improves camera mobility and ensures stability during handheld shooting for smooth movement. The cage uses a three-point locking system for a secure, stable attachment without requiring you to remove the camera's eyelets. Built-in pads provide comprehensive protection and prevent scratches, whilst precise cut-outs offer unobstructed access to the camera's ports, dials, buttons, and battery compartment.
The cage features multiple mounting points, including 1/4"-20 threaded holes, ARRI 3/8"-16 positioning holes, and a "HawkLock" NATO rail for quick attachment of accessories such as side handles (SmallRig ID 4485) and top handles (SmallRig ID 4483). A built-in cold shoe mount allows you to attach devices such as the DJI Mic 2 and lights, whilst a QD connector on the base provides shoulder strap attachment points for improved portability. The base also features a magnetic hex key for easy assembly and disassembly.
In addition, the quick-release plate on the base, combined with the "HawkLock" H38 Arca-Swiss quick-release plate (SmallRig ID 4486), enables a fast slide-on attachment with an automatic locking mechanism. The integrated Arca-Swiss quick-release plate on the base allows seamless transitions between handheld, tripod, and gimbal setups (compatible with Arca-type tripods and DJI RS 2 / RSC 2 / RS 3 Mini / RS 3 / RS 3 Pro / RS 4 Mini / RS 4 / RS 4 Pro stabilisers).
Furthermore, a hinged flap at the battery compartment provides extra grip for the little finger, whilst the included HDMI cable clamp securely holds the cable in place for stable data transfer.
