The SmallRig 6028 Advanced "HawkLock" Cage Kit for Sony Alpha 7 V / 7R V / 7 IV is expertly designed to enhance your low-angle shooting experience, while simultaneously offering robust camera protection and an efficient "HawkLock" quick-release system. This kit includes a cage, an HDMI cable clamp, a "HawkLock" top handle, and a "HawkLock" NATO rail.
The "HawkLock" top handle features SmallRig's patented "HawkLock" quick-release system, allowing you to mount the camera quickly with a single press of a button. This significantly improves camera mobility and ensures stability during handheld shooting for smooth movement. The cage uses a three-point locking system for secure attachment without flex. Built-in pads provide comprehensive protection and prevent scratches, whilst precise cut-outs offer unobstructed access to the camera's ports, dials, buttons, and battery compartment.
The cage features multiple mounting points, including 1/4"-20 threaded holes, ARRI 3/8"-16 positioning holes, and a "HawkLock" NATO rail for quick attachment of "HawkLock" handles (SmallRig ID 4485, 4483). A built-in cold shoe mount accommodates devices such as the DJI Mic 2 and lights, whilst a QD connector on the base allows a shoulder strap to be attached. The base also features a magnetic hex key for quick assembly and disassembly.
The bottom quick-release plate, combined with the "HawkLock" H38 Arca-Swiss quick-release plate (SmallRig ID 4486), enables rapid mounting with an automatic locking mechanism. The integrated Arca-Swiss quick-release plate allows seamless transitions between handheld, tripod, and gimbal setups (compatible with Arca-type tripods and DJI RS 2 / RSC 2 / RS 3 Mini / RS 3 / RS 3 Pro / RS 4 Mini / RS 4 / RS 4 Pro gimbals).
Additionally, a hinged flap at the battery compartment provides extra grip for the little finger, whilst the included HDMI cable clamp securely holds the cable in place for stable data transfer.
