The LCD screen shows you exactly how your composition looks, even in bright sunlight. The bright f/1.8 Carl Zeiss Vario-Sonnar T* lens gathers plenty of light and creates natural background blur. The zoom lens of the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-RX100II offers an ideal all-round range of 28 to 100mm (35mm equivalent). The Sony Cybershot DSC-RX100II features a built-in flash, an adjustable ISO of up to 12800, and the Optical SteadyShot function corrects unwanted camera shake.

The Sony Cybershot DSC-RX100II comes with WiFi and NFC functionality. By holding the camera against a tablet, smartphone or other NFC-enabled device, you can easily connect to share your shots. The built-in WiFi lets you share photos directly and control the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-RX100II remotely with your smartphone. Another improvement over its predecessor is that the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-RX100 II has a built-in hot shoe. With the addition of a Multi Interface Shoe, Sony has significantly expanded the camera's possibilities, as you can now easily attach accessories such as an electronic viewfinder, an external flash or a stereo microphone.
