The Sony Cybershot DSC-RX100 mark III is an advanced point-and-shoot compact camera with a large 20.1 megapixel 1-inch Exmor R CMOS sensor. This means high-resolution images and Full HD video. This versatile compact camera features a tilting LCD display and a built-in pop-up electronic viewfinder, which is ideal for creating precise compositions, especially in poor lighting conditions. The sensor design uses backside-illuminated technology to improve brightness and image quality when shooting in low light. The camera also offers an ISO sensitivity of up to 12800. Thanks to the BIONZ X image processor, you benefit from fantastic performance and plenty of possibilities. The camera offers continuous shooting at 10fps in Speed Priority mode, a shutter lag of 0.008 seconds and XAVC S movies at 50 Mbps.
The built-in Carl Zeiss Vario-Sonnar T * 2.9x zoom lens offers a 35mm-equivalent focal length of 24-70mm. This gives you wide-angle and portrait possibilities in a wide variety of environments. A maximum aperture of f/1.8-f/2.8 works very well in low light and keeps focus under control across the entire zoom range. Optical SteadyShot image stabilisation is available to help minimise camera shake. The design also includes a three-stop ND filter, so you can shoot at a wide aperture in bright weather and control motion in your images. The lens also features a Carl Zeiss T * anti-reflective coating, which helps reduce surface reflections, lens flare and ghosting.
