This extension cable is designed to work with any other TetherPro Optima base cable, up to a maximum length of 19 metres. This lets you create a custom cable length that perfectly suits your studio when shooting tethered to your laptop. The integrated TetherBoost Pro technology uses two chipsets to ensure fast, reliable data transfer over long distances at up to 10 Gb/s. When connecting this extension cable to a base cable, use the built-in SecureLock system to prevent accidental disconnections.

An octagonal housing with a polypropylene inner sleeve provides superior strength and durability when locking onto an optional TetherPro Optima base cable. The mechanism is easy to use and extremely secure, capable of withstanding a pulling force of up to 10 kg when locked. In addition, the cable ends feature a soft-grip cable with a quick-lock mechanism to further prevent accidental disconnections.

A kink-resistant, durable outer jacket withstands being stepped on by shoes or run over by a production trolley. The cable also features 20 solder points for additional physical security and protection against interference. The cable does not carry power, preventing interference during power transfer. It also offers resistance to signal interference through insulation, shielding, and a braided core.
