Like other Tilta support systems, this baseplate serves as a stable foundation for your camera system, allowing you to expand your rig with rod-mounted accessories such as follow focus motors or mattebox units. The new dual-functionality design features an Arca receiver based on the DJI standard, enabling users to switch quickly between a Ronin S-series gimbal and this baseplate.

The baseplate also features a Manfrotto receiver, ideal for switching between a tripod and other Manfrotto-based support systems, such as our Tilta Float Handheld Support System. This Manfrotto receiver incorporates a new "click mechanism", allowing users to click the Manfrotto plate into the receiver rather than using the more traditional sliding mechanisms.

This results in the same secure connection, but attaching and removing is now much faster — particularly useful in situations where you need to switch quickly from tripod to handheld, such as on reality shows or documentaries.

The baseplate is natively compatible with Tilta Standard Dovetails and can be mounted on a wide range of support systems via 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 thread on the underside of both the baseplate and our dovetails. The baseplate kit includes a dual Manfrotto/Arca quick release plate.

Compatibility with third-party ARCA and Manfrotto quick release plates cannot be guaranteed.
