This base kit gives you the foundation for a fully featured mobile recording rig with the Khronos case. The phone clamp opens between 7 and 9 cm wide and is adjustable in multiple directions, making it compatible with a wide range of modern smartphones. This flexibility also means you can upgrade to the latest camera technology without having to replace your case. When you're ready to expand your recording capabilities, take advantage of the cage's versatility by adding Khronos Universal accessories to the various cold shoe, 1/4"-20, and NATO mounts and rails.

Even without the optional handles, the Khronos Universal cage can be used for handheld shooting, thanks to the wave-shaped grooves on both sides. These provide a textured grip for a firm and secure hold.
