The Carl Zeiss UV filter can be divided into two main functions: First, the UV filter blocks invisible UV rays. Second, the filter is an important protection for your lens.

The Zeiss UV Filter is a perfect accessory for your Zeiss lens. The Zeiss filters are made of the same material as the lenses. As a result, they are perfectly adjusted to your lens. The filters are also coated with the special Zeiss T \* coating for better light transmission.

This filter protects your lens and absorbs UV light. Film and video are more sensitive to UV light than our own eyes are. This can be seen as a bluish haze in images, mainly in images that are taken from great heights and over large water surfaces.
