The Panasonic LUMIX G9II is the first LUMIX camera with fast, precise Phase Detection AF. With 779 focus points, the camera tracks your subject through the image very accurately. Even in conditions that are normally difficult for an AF system such as backlighting or low light, focus is still razor-sharp and lightning fast. The autofocus detection is also greatly improved and recognises people, animals and vehicles. New AI recognition technology delivers more accurate focusing in scenes with multiple people and recognises people and animals separately. The option for an extra small focus point and AF Micro Adjustments enable you to be very precise.
Combined with super-fast focusing, the extensive burst capabilities mean you won't miss a single moment of action. The electronic shutter lets you shoot up to 75 frames per second! With the enhanced buffer memory, you can shoot continuously for up to about three seconds. Even during burst shooting, the screen does not black out. Rolling-shutter effect is prevented for sharp photos without image distortion. With the enhanced Pre-Burst Shooting option, you can go back in time for the perfect photo, so you'll always capture the perfect moment.

The Panasonic Leica DG Vario-Elmarit 12-60mm F2.8-F4 can be used for a number of situations, from impressive landscapes to portraits, but can also be used to create an unfocussed effect. The lens has a large aperture and the Power O.I.S (Optical Image Stabilizer) effectively compensates blur, making recording a breeze, even in low-light conditions. The lens can be used with the Dual I.S (Image Stabilizer), 5-axis I.S.2 and 5-axis Dual I.S system, when mounted to a Lumix mirrorless camera.
The new lens is a good fit for video, with a quiet inner focus drive system and a micro-step drive system for smooth aperture adjustments to compensate for changes in brightness. The optical design provides exceptional stability, preventing movement of image while zooming as much as possible. Additionally, the lens is dust and water resistant and can withstand freezing temperatures as low as -10.
