By transferring these to the S9, you can apply them directly to the photos and videos you shoot, saving you time in post-processing. As well as creating your own presets, you can also choose to download presets via the LUMIX Lab app. Getting your shots onto your smartphone is quick and easy, thanks to improved connection speed and stability. This is made possible by a new recording format: MP4 Lite — an Open Gate video mode optimised for smartphones. Within 30 seconds, your photo or video is online, exactly the way you want it.
Extend your reach with crop and hybrid zoom
You can expand the zoom range of the Panasonic S9 while maintaining image quality, using the crop zoom function and the hybrid zoom function. The crop zoom function uses the centre of the camera sensor to extend the standard zoom range. The hybrid zoom function combines both optical and crop zoom to increase the focal length even further.

The Panasonic LUMIX S 40mm f/2.0 is a compact and fast prime lens for L-Mount cameras. With a focal length of 40mm, this lens offers a natural angle of view that closely matches human vision, making it a versatile choice for everyday photography, street photography, portraits and landscapes.
The large maximum aperture of f/2.0 helps you work with shorter shutter speeds even in low light, without unnecessarily pushing the ISO sensitivity. It also produces a soft and pleasing bokeh, helping your subject stand out beautifully from the background.
The lens is designed with portability in mind. Measuring approximately 4.1 cm in length and weighing around 144 grams, it keeps your kit compact and lightweight.
