At Photospecialist, we maintain a thirty-day cooling-off period. The cooling-off period starts the day after receipt of the product. Would you like to return a purchased item?

This is possible within this thirty-day cooling-off period. When you return a purchased item, the return costs are for your own account, including any related shipping and customs costs. If we receive the complete product undamaged and (if reasonably possible) in the original packaging, we will reimburse the entire purchase amount. Extra costs will be settled with the (credit) invoice.

In case you wish to return your order, please contact our Customer Service ([email protected]). This is important to avoid additional costs.

Note: at this moment we do not accept packages being sent by Royal Mail.

How does it work?

To prevent high costs, please contact our Customer Service ([email protected]) before you return your purchase. Once you have contacted our Customer Service, our employees will provide you with a shipping label and commercial invoice, which will be sent to you by email, together with the returns form. The return costs of £25 are for your own account and will be settled on your credit invoice. 

Once we have received your return, we will send you a confirmation by email. The refund will take place no later than fourteen days after we have received the returned product.

Do you wish to exchange your order?

If you wish to exchange your order, we will send you the desired exchange item (if available) once the purchased item has been returned. The exchange shipping costs of £25 are for your own account. These costs will be recalculated and settled with your new order. If this is not possible, we will send you a payment request via email. 

In case you wish to exchange your order, please contact our Customer Service ([email protected]) first. We will send you a return label to avoid additional costs.  

Do you wish to return a damaged item?

If you have received a damaged item, you can return the item free of charge. Please first contact our Customer Service ([email protected]) so that we can create a return label for you. Once we have received your return, we will send you a confirmation by email. The refund will take place no later than fourteen days after we have received the returned product.

Please note: If you send us the damaged product or the product you wish to exchange without a return label, we will reimburse a maximum amount of £25 for the return costs.

Exceptions of the right to cancel

The right to cancel does not apply to the following kind of contracts

  • Contracts for the supply of goods that are made to the consumer’s specifications or are clearly personalised.
  • Contracts for the supply of goods which are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly.
  • Contracts for the supply of sealed goods which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons and were unsealed after delivery.
  • Contracts for the supply of goods which are, after delivery, according to their nature, inseparably mixed with other items.
  • Contracts for the supply of sealed audio or sealed video recordings or sealed computer software which were unsealed after delivery.
  • Contracts for the supply of a newspaper, periodical or magazine with the exception of subscription contracts for the supply of such publications
  • We cannot accept a printer if it has already been used. If the printer has not been used and the cartridges are still unopened, it may be returned within 14 days.
