The DJI RS 3 Mini is the very first Mini version in the RS series. Compared to the RS 3 Pro and the RS 3, this gimbal weighs 50% less, but it does not compromise on its functionalities or carrying capacity. In fact, you can support your camera bundle up to a weight of 2 kilograms.

Creative functionalities

The DJI RS 3 Mini features multiple functionalities, allowing you to get the most out of your recordings. This allows you to easily switch between landscape and portrait mode without the need for additional accessories. All you need to do is attach the standard Quick-Release Plate to the gimbal's vertical arm, and you're ready for action. Ideal for filming content for social media platforms. There is a switch (the M button) on the gimbal to toggle between Pan-Follow (PF), Pan-Tilt-Follow (PTF) and First-Person-View (FPV) modes. As with the DJI RS 3, the Mini 3 allows you to use the Ronin app for even more creativity and create the most beautiful time-lapses, tracks and panoramas.

Intuitive operation

The camera and gimbal are easy to operate thanks to the gimbal's intuitive design. For example, this gimbal comes with the same Bluetooth shutter remote control as the DJI RS 3 Pro, and once connected, you can easily control the video and photo recording functions via the record button on the gimbal. On the gimbal itself is a 1.4" full-colour touchscreen that allows you to set most of the gimbal functions without having to use the app. This allows you to access frequently used settings in no time. Finally, as with the other gimbals in the RS series, you have access to an ergonomic dial for settings the ISO, aperture, focus and the three axes of the gimbal.

Personal set-up

You can mount the camera on the gimbal in no time thanks to the double-layer quick-release plate. This quick-release plate is designed with a curved positioning guide, so the camera does not rotate or become dislodged. In addition, the plate is ARCA-compatible, so you can easily switch between different tripods. There is also a NATO connector on the DJI RS 3 Mini, so you can combine a variety of accessories and create your own setup. By combining the DJI RS 3 Mini with the DJI Mic and you will have crystal-clear recording sound for all your videos. The design of the DJI Mic makes it ready to use immediately. You can transmit up to 250 metres for 15 hours. The transmitters are lightweight and can be worn hidden under your clothing.

With the gimbal, you can record up to 10 hours at a time, so you can get away with a whole day. If the gimbal is empty, you can recharge it within 2.5 hours and get to work. You can even use the gimbal while charging, so you are always up-and-running.
