Top 10 Stargazers
The stargazer is the starting point to delve more deeply into astronomy and discover distant planetary systems. For our top 10 stargazers we have made a selection based on image quality, magnification factor of the eyepieces and the maintenance possibilities.
The best stargazers
When night has fallen, we can see the moon and the stars from the window. Sometimes, some other constellations can also be observed. But often it stays that way. With the help of a stargazer, not only can stars be observed, but planets too. A stargazer enlarges the image that we cannot see with the naked eye, by means of a magnifying glass (eyepiece) in combination with a lens.
Stargazers are available from Celestron, National Geographic and Bresser. When choosing a stargazer, you can choose a refractor, a reflector or a catadioptric version. But you can also use a spotting scope or binoculars if you want to spot birds.
