The HERO 12 has an 8:7 ratio which provides a large field of view and gives you the flexibility to take horizontal and vertical images. Crop your desired size directly from your GoPro. Are you going for 4:3, 1:1, 16:9 óor 9:16? You now also have the option to frame your images vertically. And for those who want even more range: with the separately available Enhanced Max Lens Mod 2.0 you can create an even wider image with deeper contrast. The HERO 12 is very easy to operate and thanks to the improved image stabilization HyperSmooth 6.0, you can film handheld just as easily as from a gimbal. If you want to keep your hands free while filming, you can place it on a tripod thanks to the integrated 1/4-20 mount, or attach it to one of the many GoPro mount accessories. The HERO 12 is equipped with a Multiple Bluetooth Connection, so you can use different accessories at the same time. Another new feature is the wireless mic support, which now allows you to record audio from an external device. You can also use voice control via your AirPods, for example. This way you can easily operate your GoPro from a distance and improve the audio quality. If you go out with multiple GoPros, you can easily connect them via Timecode sync. By scanning a QR code, the different action cameras receive a time code, very useful for synchronizing the GoPros later in post-production.
