Grip Gear movie maker director set
The Grip Gear movie maker director set is a compact, motorised slider for your smartphone, action camera, mirrorless and compact camera up to 750 grams in a vertical climb. The motor can handle more horizontally, being a maximum weight of 1kg.
Use this set to make the most beautiful product videos, or take it with you on a trip to record your adventures on video. The Movie Maker is made for smartphones, action cams and compact cameras.
The slider is adjustable in nine different speeds, from fast to slow time-lapse mode. Horizontal or vertical, it is all possible with this Grip Gear slider. There are small buttons at the end of the rails that flip the motor over automatically. You can control the slider remotely with the remote control. This allows you to set the speed and direction without touching your equipment and disturbing the recording.
If the slider doesn't produce the shot you had in mind, remove the motor from the slider and flip out the wheels. You now have a mini dolly on hand for filming. The motor and head also has a panorama mode, so you can film the most beautiful panoramas, including time-lapses.
Take the complete set apart in no time and take this lightweight slider with you in your backpack. It is even possible to expand the slider track length if you want to film even more in the future. The Movie Maker has a 1/4" thread that allows you to mount it on a tripod or suction cup. You can also attach a Gimbal, provided it has a matching 1/4" thread on the bottom. By using a Gimbal, you give extra dimension to your time-lapse.
The built-in battery charges via USB and works for about 2 hours. You can also power the battery with a separate power bank. This extends the duration by hours or sometimes days. The RPM of the motors and the distance the slider travels per mode is in setting 1: 6mm per minute and in setting 9: 500mm per minute.
