Kite Optics Roof-top binoculars URSUS 8x32
The Kite Optics Roof-Top Binoculars URSUS 8x32 is the entry-level model to the professional line of Kite roof-top binoculars. An easy-to-use and all-round binocular designed for everyday use. The optical system features Kite's MHR coating. This coating process provides a multilayer coating on each glass surface, as well as a highly reflective coating on the prism. This results in excellent colour balance, a bright and sharp image.
The Ursus is fully waterproof and nitrogen-filled, thus negating any chance for condensation on the inside of the instrument. The chassis is covered with a tough rubber jacket to provide the binoculars with the necessary protection against shock and impact.
The soft-touch rubber covering provides optimum grip in the right places. The instrument is ultra-lightweight and well-balanced. This makes it very pleasant to hold, operate, and carry with you for an entire day. The 'short-hinge' design allows you to grab all the way around the tube with your fingers, allowing you to observe even with just one hand.
The Ursus is equipped with 4-level metal eyecups, for optimal comfort both with and without glasses. The metal eyecups are rubberized and are also self-removable.
The focus wheel features a deep groove pattern, for maximum grip even with gloves. The wheel rotates smoothly for fast and accurate focusing from near to infinity.
Much attention was paid to ergonomics in the design of the Ursus. The thumb recesses with grip texture in the rubber ensure that you can enjoy a calm and stable image for long periods in comfort.
