LiveU Reliable Transport (LRT) integrates selected video delivery techniques into one protocol for reliable streaming with the Solo encoder. LRT uses numbered packages. Package order is an absolute requirement in connection binding. The packages can be re-ordered if they do not arrive in the correct order.
Forward Error Correction (FEC) adds some overhead to the stream to recover lost data faster. LRT automatically varies FEC parameters based on monitored network conditions. When the bandwidth condition changes, LRT automountically recognizes it and informs the video encoder to adjust the video bit rate.
