The Nikon Z6 II Essential movie kit is a kit that has been specially put together for the Videomakers among us. The kit consists of the Nikon Z6 II, Atomos ninja V, FTZ mount adapter, SmallRig quick-release camera cage and useful accessories such as batteries.

Nikon Z6 II

The Nikon Z6 II is a high-quality mirrorless camera that builds on the success of the Z6. This robust and user-friendly camera gives you the opportunity to produce professional quality cinematic videos in 4K quality at a whopping 60fps. The Z6 II can capture 4K UHD and Full HD images in both the FX and DX fields, and the HLG recording format provides greater detail, greater dynamic range and contrast. In addition, you can record 10-bit output via HDMI directly to an external recorder. The two EXPEED 6 processors provide powerful performance, for example when you take many images in succession. For example, the Z6 II supports continuous shooting at a speed of 14 frames per second and a higher maximum number of shots than the Z6, namely 200 JPEG images or 124 12-bit uncompressed RAW images in one burst.
The Nikon Z6 II uses Nikon's Z mount system, which ensures that light reaches the entire 24.5 megapixel full-frame sensor and therefore produces images of even higher quality. Benefit from a wider dynamic range and focus with absolute accuracy, even in low light.

Atomos Ninja Inferno V

The Atomos Ninja Inferno V is a powerful on-camera monitor/recorder that allows you to record up to 4Kp60 10-bit HDR video via HDMI 2.0. This 2.5 cm thin monitor makes it possible to view your recordings on the very bright display while filming. It can also be used as a recording device for video streaming from devices such as your game console. All recordings are stored as high-quality Apple ProRes or Avid DNxHR files with 10-bit 4:2:2 chroma subsampling. The Ninja V's display has a stunning dynamic range of more than 10 stops from Log/PQ/HLG signals. Inbuilt presets are available for popular Sony, Canon, Fujifilm, Panasonic, ARRI, RED and JVC video camera log formats. The Atomos Ninja V has a 5 inch LCD screen that is illuminated by a bright 1000 cd/m² backlight, making it possible to view your images in daylight without the need for a lens hood. This monitor has a sturdy aluminium housing and can be powered by a single L-series battery.

Nikon FTZ Mount Adapter

The Nikon FTZ Mount Adapter is an adapter that allows you to use existing NIKKOR lenses with an F mount on the Z mount of the Nikon Z6 and Z7 mirrorless cameras. In-camera vibration reduction (VR) is available when a non-VR lens is attached. In this way, you still benefit from the image stabilization of the camera, which also works great with movie recordings. When attaching a lens that also has built-in VR, the VR of the lens and the camera effectively work together to correct for camera shake. This is made possible by VR in the lens over two axes and three axes VR in the camera. As with the cameras and NIKKOR F lenses, the FTZ Mount Adapter is effectively sealed, making it dust- and splash-resistant.

Note: when used with older lenses, the autofocus may no longer work. The autofocus works with AF-S, AF-I and AF-P lenses.

The SmallRig Quick Release Half Cage for the Nikon Z6 and Nikon Z7

The SmallRig Quick Release Half Cage is made for the Nikon Z6 and Nikon Z7 2262. The cameras fit seamlessly onto this semi-open cage that provides support and protection for the camera. Because the cage has a built-in Manfrotto 501 QR plate system, it is possible to detach the camera within 2 seconds. This item is therefore extremely suitable for photographers who have many shoots in a row.

It is possible to attach accessories to the cage, thanks to the convenient mounting points (1/4"20, 3/8-16, arri 3/8 and M4 threaded holes) and nato rail.
