This Pentax K-70 is a compact, weatherproof and dustproof DSLR camera, specially designed for all types of outdoor photography. The camera is equipped with many fine functions, such as a 24.24 megapixel image sensor and a very high light sensitivity of up to ISO 102,400, a lightning-fast 11-point autofocus system and a 3" tilting LCD display with live view option.

Thanks to the robust and weatherproof housing, the Pentax K-70 camera is resistant to moisture, dust and temperatures as low as -10 degrees. That is why this camera is ideal for photographers who spend a lot of time outdoors. The excellent grip makes this camera easy to operate, even with gloves on. Do you want to transfer or share your files right away? No problem! The K-70 features Wi-Fi, so instantly sharing your photos on social media is a piece of cake. It is also possible to use your mobile device as a remote or as a live view monitor.

The Pixel Shift Resolution System developed by Pentax takes four shots per scene. Shifting the sensor one pixel for each image and then re-merging the images produces photos with very high colour accuracy and super high resolution. An innovative, anti-aliasing filter simulator ensures that moiré is minimised. This AA filter simulator has the same moiré suppressing effect as an optical anti-aliasing filter. Unlike an optical AA filter, which always gives the same result, you can turn the built-in anti-aliasing on or off and even adjust it. This means you can set the most ideal setting for each specific subject.

Pentax 18-55mm F/3.5-5.6 AL WR

The Pentax 18-55mm F/3.5-5.6 AL WR is a zoom lens that features a newly designed, simplified, weatherproof construction that offers excellent reliability in a variety of outdoor conditions. This standard zoom lens covers focal lengths from 27.5mm wide angle to 84.5mm medium telephoto (in 35mm format). With a high-performance aspherical (AL) optical element and a super-low dispersion glass optical element incorporated into the optics, it provides excellent shooting resolution and remarkable clarity even at the edges, while efficiently correcting various aberrations.

The front surface of this lens is treated with PENTAX's original SP (Super Protect) coating, which applies a special fluoride compound to the lens surface through a vapour process. This SP coating not only effectively repels dust, but also makes it easy to wipe off fingerprints and cosmetics.

This lens has been optimised by Pentax with regard to the curvature and positioning of optical elements, to create the finest digital images possible. As a result, your images are virtually free of flare and ghosting. Once your subject is captured in focus by the camera's AF system, the unique quick-shift focus system allows you to instantly switch to manual focus for final adjustments. Another feature of the 18-55mm F/3.5-5.6 AL WR is the durable, reliable metal lens mount, and a lens hood with a PL (polarising filter) window is included as a standard accessory.
