The Phottix Nuada LED Ringlight 40C (EU) is a bi-colour ringlight with a built-in ECO2 system that lets you infinitely adjust the light output (0-100%) and colour temperature (3200K to 5600K). This lamp is perfect for creating social media content, videos, photos or, for example, lighting online meetings. Whether you enjoy making vlogs or doing photo shoots, the 40C is a great lighting solution.
The light of this Nuada LED ring lamp scores well with a CRI value of 96+ and a TLCI value of 98+. Besides the quality of the light, this lamp also features a user-friendly design. In fact, above the control panel, the ringlight features three cold shoe mounts with which you can attach webcams, microphones, smartphone holders or cameras to your Nuada LED Ringlight 40C. This allows you to turn this lamp into a full studio setup for creating vlogs, social media content or performing photo shoots. The USB connectors on the back of the lamp also give you the option to charge your smartphone or other connected devices.
You can also use ECO2 technology to link multiple Phottix lamps together to create a studio setup. This allows you to set the light completely to your liking.
Buttons
On the back of this lamp you will find: the power button, two USB-A connectors for charging connected devices, an AC/DC connector for the power supply, two 1/4" mount screw holes for mounting accessories, a brightness adjustment knob, a colour temperature adjustment knob, a channel LED for adding the lamp to a studio setup via channel 1, 2 or 3, a channel button and an IR sensor for communicating with the remote control. At the bottom of the ring lamp you will find a hinge with which you can adjust the angle of the light and a cold shoe mouunt to mount the ring lamp on, for example, a lamp stand (included).
Remote control
With the included remote control, you don't have to stay near your lamp to adjust it. Benefit from extra convenience and control the brightness and colour temperature with a simple press of a button up to 5 metres away from the lamp. Once you are working at a distance from the lamp, it is nice to also be able to take photos from a distance when you are, for example, taking a self-portrait or recording videos. For this, you use the smartphone shutter function on the remote control. Finally, you can easily switch between the channels with this remote control and adjust your settings per group easily and quickly.
Lamp tripod
This Ringlight 40C set includes the F-180 lamp tripod. Folded down, this tripod has a height of 46cm and unfolded it has a height of about 1m80. At the top of this tripod is a 1/4" threaded end. This is a common connection for photography applications.
