The Dome pushes the water away from the camera so that you do not get a blurred image, but the water is just removed so far from your lens that your GoPro can record the water level. This gives you a clear picture of what is happening above water and what can be seen under water. The Dome can be used for both photo and video and is specifically designed for the GoPro Hero5, Hero6 and Hero7 Black.
The Polar Pro Fifty-Fifty Dome is quick and easy to click on the lens of your Gopro Hero 5, 6 or 7. Place your GoPro camera in the Dome and click the lock. You do not need an extra housing for this, because your GoPro Hero camera is waterproof up to 10 meters deep. The 'Polar Pro optics' ensure a razor-sharp image. The spherical lens can be removed for cleaning.
Recordings made with the Fifty-Fifty Dome are spectacular. However, capturing beautiful over-under photos requires some practice. Keep in mind that the shape of the Dome causes more light to reflect on the lens, and this light shines in different directions. To prevent glare, it is best to film with the sun in the back. You will also have to practice the angle at which you film and the frame you capture.
