Ricoh is expanding its successful GR series with a special, limited-edition kit: the GR IIIx Urban Edition. The Ricoh GRIIIx is a compact, fast and high-quality compact camera. In addition to the camera in a special, anthracite-grey body finish, the Urban Edition includes a blue lens ring, a leather wrist strap with a blue accent and a black metal hot shoe cover with the engraving: "Since 1996".

The Ricoh GRIIIx is a high-quality, fast compact camera ideal for street photography and travel. The 26.1mm GR lens has a 40mm angle of view in the 35mm format, a versatile angle of view that allows you to create different image views. With crop mode, you can create compositions equivalent to having 3 lenses in a single camera. The optical design consists of 7 elements in 5 groups and ensures clear, sharp images across the entire frame. The lens construction has a high refractive index, low dispersion and aspherical glass lenses. The design significantly reduces optical distortion and chromatic aberration.  

In addition to the lens, the sensor has also been optimised for high image quality. The APS-C size CMOS image sensor offers high resolution. GR ENGINE 6 ensures precise details and fast processing. Thanks to an original singalong technology, you can even shoot at ISO 102400. The powerful "Accelerator Unit" reduces noise and ensures sharp images and colours throughout the ISO range.

Hybrid AF combines Phase Detection and Contrast Detection for fast and accurate focusing. Eight focus modes ensure that there is a mode for every subject and shooting style. For active photographers: 3-axis, 4-step motion reduction reduces camera shake. Even snapshots taken in one second are sharp, ideal for street photography! Incorrect colours and moiré are reduced by the optical anti-aliasing (AA) filter.

A range of enhanced post-processing functions ensure a smooth and fast workflow. With the various expressive photo modes, you can express all your creativity. For example, use interval composite shooting, multiple exposure or the Image Control function.

The compact design makes it easy to take the camera on the road. The minimalist design features comfortable operation and a stylish look. A touch screen and customisable buttons make it easier to use. With Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, you can easily transfer images to your smartphone or computer.
