Description
Tiffen 58mm Circular Polarizing Wide Angle
Attention, you will not be able to use your existing lenscap
Polarizing filters are filters that are often used for specific circumstances. A CP-filter is slightly more blue compared to a UV filter. A CP filter is excellent to use in combination with landscape photography, by turning the CP-filter you can create different shades of blue. As a result you can decide yourself what shade of blue you want to present the sky.
Polarizing filters are primarily designed to remove reflections from surfaces, particularly reflections of glass and water. As a result, the colors and saturation levels of air become darker.
There are two different polarization filters, a circular and a linear filter. Linear filters are less expensive and more effective than circular filters. However you need a circular filter if you have a camera that measures through the lens or has an autofocus function, otherwise usage of a polarization filter will turn off one of the functions.
Ultrafilters, available both linear and circular, are the most efficient in the removal of reflections and saturation of colors.
Features
- For general outdoor use- Provides more dramatic skies and minimizes reflections
- Can be rotated to reach the desired effect
