The Vanguard Endeavor HD 82A telescope is the most advanced optical device that Vanguard has ever made. The optical system uses glass with an extra-low dispersion (ED) to ensure accurate color reproduction and virtually eliminate color edges. The lenses are all fully multi-coated so that an optimum light transmission is guaranteed. The lenses feature a phase-coated BAK4 roof prism.
The Endeavor 82A is supplied with a 82mm lens and an angled eyepiece with 20-60x zoom magnification. It features a retractable rubber eyepiece. It offers a very impressive sight and is easy on the eyes even at high zoom. A built-in lens hood is included to eliminate glare from direct sunlight and includes a padded rain protection that is easy to wear.
The Endeavor HD is equipped with both a fine and coarse focus wheel for quick and precise tuning. The Endeavor HD can be connected directly to the Vanguard tripod head that is equipped with a universal mounting plate. This without the use of a quick release plate.
